DefenseNet has decoded a transmission from the Syrian President sent to the Lebanese Government earlier.
Summary of transcript follows:
"...the Syrian Presidency would like to express its personal concern over the evolving situation and would like to assure the Lebanese government that it is ready to assist in any way it can if called upon to do so..."
It is estimated that this message was received by the Lebanese cabinet shortly before the air strike on Sheikh Halwezi. Confirmation of receipt has also been intercepted.
