Sources inside the Foreign Ministry have revealed to members of the international press that the Foreign Minister has taken over the duties of the Lebanese Prime Minister. It is believed that the PM has lost control of his cabinet, and that the Foreign Minister has assumed the duties he can not carry out.

The Lebanese Prime Minister has strongly refuted the Foreign Ministry's sources. He claims to be in control of his own government. Whether that is the case, remains to be seen.
